The Kenda Backpack pattern has a secure front slip pocket for easy access to your keys, cell phone. etc. and an additional zippered pocket on the back! There is a drawstring closure and instructions for comfortable shoulder straps. Finished size is 13 1/2" across x 14" in length.
The Pamela Jean Backpack pattern is an easy to make drawstring backpack made with simple quilt blocks and coordinating strips of fabric. Finished size is 16" wide x 17" tall.

It will be in PDF format and will come with actual pattern pieces that you can print out on your computer, cut out the pattern, and then place this pattern piece on your fabric - how easy is that?
