A new page has been added to PursePatterns.com called "Pattern Info/Tutorials". We are constantly trying to add more and more interesting and important information to our site but without making it overwhelming to use so all our tutorials will now be listed on this page.
So far, we have a purse piping tutorial, a crazy quilting tutorial (the different methods of crazy quilting such as the Sew and Flip or the Antique Method), and a listing of pattern terminology such as what is Peltex, what is a Layer Cake, etc. We have also included some handy common conversions of cm to inches to help with our Australian patterns!
Also on the bottom navigation menu, we have added a link called "Free Purse Patterns From Us!" which will have the links to the purse patterns that we have written and are offering free of charge to you.
If you have any suggestions about how to better organize our site, please let us know!
Thanks!
Henrietta

Stitchin' Sisters Has Been Added to Our Purse Pattern Lineup
We have added 6 patterns by Stitchin' Sisters, including the Purse-Nickity Purse Pattern, The Purse-sonality Purse Pattern, Snippety Snap Bag pattern, Snap Happy, Bloom Where You're Planted Tote Pattern, and the Snap Happier Bag pattern.
The Purse-nickity Purse pattern by Stitchin' Sisters is a double handled handbag that uses grommets in it's design with a finished size of 10 1/2" x 15". We also carry the grommets!
We have added a free pattern called the Cutie Pootie Purse Pattern to our website. This bag pattern is easy to make and has full instructions, illustrations, and even the flap pattern in PDF format so it is easy to print and use to cut your fabric! It also features a convertible handle - use as a hands free hip bag or double up the straps and use as a shoulder bag.

Lower Pricing on Australian Purse Patterns
We have lowered the price on many of our Australian pattern designers including Melly & Me, Lynette Anderson, Natalie Ross in Stitches, Cinderberry Stitches, and The Birdhouse Designs. We have also added a new Australian category - Leanne's House. Purse Patterns available from this designer include The Waverley Bag Pattern, Cheryl's Bag Pattern, and Marie's Roses Carry Bag.
Two new Melly & Me's just arrived - Raspberry Ripple and Little Miss Mouse!
To digress just a little, the new Carolina CarryAll is available from StudioKat Designs and, best of all, you can use either the Portapockets organizer or the Encore Purse Pattern insert - both fit inside to help keep you totally organized!
Just a quick reminder - we will be moving all purse patterns from Henrietta's Handbags to PursePatterns.com in the near future!

New Purse Pattern Designers Have Been Added
We have just added 2 new purse pattern designers to our line - Eazy Peazy Patterns and Blue Moon River. Eazy Peazy has 2 patterns including The Bodacious Brag Bag which has instructions for a showcase photo on the front and Second Heaven, which is a handy dandy quilted purse.
Blue Moon River has 3 purses: The Pinata Purse Pattern, The Flora, and The Tulip. The Pinata uses batik fabric, The Flora uses fat eighths, and The Tulip uses fat quarters.
We will be starting our Purse Patterns Newsletter at the end of April so if you want to receive updates (only sent out once a month!), be sure to sign up!
We have also added a purse pattern terminology page and would like your help in growing this list! If you come across an unfamiliar term, just contact us and we will add it to the terminology page.
